Health Concerns, Burnout & Self-Esteem | Perinatal Therapy
Life doesn’t pause when you’re struggling.
You’re juggling responsibilities, showing up for others, and pushing through, while inside, you’re overwhelmed, burnt out, or disconnected.
Therapy is a place to slow down. To tune in. And to finally deal with the hard stuff in a way that feels safe, manageable, and transformative.
I work with adults navigating trauma, anxiety, burnout, relationship challenges, major life transitions, and the ways these experiences can quietly shape how we cope.
My approach is clear and grounded, helping you access your truth, understand your patterns, and find your way back to balance.
Trauma Therapy & EMDR
You may not label your past experiences as “trauma,” but if they still show up in your thoughts, relationships, or body, it matters.
Sometimes trauma is loud and obvious. Other times, it’s subtle, ongoing, or minimized.
You may have learned to function through it, but your nervous system probably hasn’t forgotten. And often, to get through the day, you might rely on numbing behaviors, whether that’s overworking, overthinking, or turning to substances to self-soothe.
I specialize in helping clients process painful experiences in ways that feel safe and manageable. I am trained in EMDR (Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing), a research-backed approach that helps reduce the emotional intensity of traumatic memories so you can live more fully in the present.
You may benefit from trauma-focused therapy if you:
Feel stuck in cycles of fear, shame, or self-blame
Experience anxiety, emotional numbness, or hypervigilance
Struggle to trust others or set boundaries
Use substances or other coping mechanisms that no longer serve you
Whether you’ve experienced a single overwhelming event or the cumulative impact of years of emotional stress, EMDR can help reduce the intensity of your triggers, improve how you cope, and restore a sense of peace within yourself.
General Mental Health, Burnout & Self-Esteem
Sometimes the problem isn’t one “big thing,” but the heaviness of life piling up.
If you’re feeling anxious, stuck, or burned out, I can help you untangle those feelings and create a path forward.
Together, we’ll work on:
Managing stress and anxiety
Setting boundaries and saying “no” without guilt
Building self-esteem and confidence
Preventing or recovering from burnout
Exploring what feels meaningful and fulfilling to you
My approach blends deep emotional exploration with hands-on skill-building so you leave each session with insight and tools you can use right away.
We’ll work together to understand what’s underneath your symptoms, whether it’s anxiety, depression, overwhelm, transitions, or chronic stress, and help you reconnect with your values, boundaries, and internal sense of clarity.
Postpartum & Parenting Support
Becoming a parent is one of the biggest transitions of your life, and often, the most under-supported.
It’s no wonder so many new parents, especially mothers, lose touch with themselves. And in the exhaustion and stress, it’s easy to lean on coping strategies that don’t always serve you in the long run. Whether that’s scrolling, isolation, or reaching for substances to take the edge off, therapy can offer a grounded place to process the emotional load you’re carrying.
I support parents and parents-to-be as they navigate:
Postpartum anxiety or depression
Identity changes and emotional challenges after baby
Relationship strain and changes in intimacy
Sleep deprivation, mental load, and overstimulation
Processing birth trauma
You deserve a space where you can show up as your full self — exhausted, messy, unsure — and receive compassion and practical support for this transformative chapter.
I also bring my own lived experience into this work. As a parent, you can honor your child and your identity. You can show up for your family and still take care of yourself.
If you’re navigating the overwhelming shift into parenthood — the identity changes, sleep deprivation, relationship tension, or feelings of anxiety or isolation — you’re not alone. I offer a space where you can explore all of it without judgment and begin to feel like you again.
Therapy is an investment in yourself – your well-being, your relationships, your future.
If you’re ready to explore what’s possible, let’s talk.
